The 70°C Nitinol spring is our best-selling spring. It is ideal for Nitinol experiments and for designing mechanisms at higher temperatures. This spring is supplied by us to all primary schools in Israel as part of the 5th-grade science curriculum. It also integrates into our Nitinol walking robot. The spring diameter is 0.5 cm and its length is 2.5 cm; the wire diameter is 0.71 mm. The spring delivers a force of 980 g at half its fully extended length (5 cm). To activate it electrically, pass 3 amps for 5 seconds.
